I found these two souvenir pieces at a yard sale while visiting a friend in Olympia, Washington.  They called to me and after sitting in my studio for a few years the idea came to me to embellish them and we hung them outside our bathroom door in the 1920's spanish bungalow that was our home in Los Angeles.
