We Were There #1

I found these chalk art faces at an estate sale and knew I could use them in an art piece at some point.  And very quickly this idea came to me made even more meaningful to me personally because I worked on it during Pride Month, and during a time when a sitting supreme court justice publicly declared that he wants to do away with my civil rights.  This is my response to fearful and hate-filled people - we were there, we are here, and we are the future.  And by "we" I don't just mean the LGBTQ+ community, but I include all peoples regardless of social location who believe in justice, inclusion, and love.
